The tab that is larger than the other tabs indicates the file that is currently open. The smaller tabs indicate other files that are available to work on.</p> <section id="gedit-adding-tabs"> <title>Adding tabs</title> <p>To add a new tab, create a new file with <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key> <key>T</key></keyseq>.
